SUBJECT: Offsite Improvement Plan for SSA Tucson, First Avenue & Smoot Drive

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, DOT, Permits and Codes Section

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan and does not recommends approval at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the subsequent review submittal.

1. Include the plan number “U-2013-003” in the title block of each sheet.

2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number “T13PI00002”on cover sheet.

3. Revise title block so that the title block information is identical on all sheets except for sheet number. Extraneous labeling such as details of sheet or the street name may be labeled above title block. Additionally, include the Smoot Drive and First Avenue in the plan title.

4. Show all proposed improvements along 1st Ave.

5. Provide a full curb access ramp at the southeast corner of 1st Ave. and Smoot Dr. per PC/COT S.D. 207, Sht. 1 of 5. Proposed access ramp configuration is not per COT standards.

6. Provide spot grades along proposed pavement sawcut line within Smoot Dr.

7. Provide recordation information for right-of-way dedication. If dedication has not been completed then provide place holder to be filled out later.

8. Provide sidewalk, including curb access ramps at driveways, for the entire width of the property along the Smoot Drive.

9. Provide a curb transition per PC/COT S.D. 210 where the curb is proposed to join existing curb on Euclid Avenue.

10. Indicate cross slope for the proposed pavement section along Smoot Drive.
