The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide sheets SP1, S1, S2, S3, and S4 as indicated on sheet index for plan review. Review of these pages may result in additional plan review comments. 2. Provide minimum 3/32" lettering for dimensions on Section drawing 1-4.3 per Unified Development Code. 3. Provide seal from engineer of record on structural pages and applicable framing details to include foundation and roof framing. 4. Clarify engineer of record specified on cover sheet. SITE PLAN: 5. Specify the location of all utility lines and service meters, R106.1.1. INCLUSIVE HOME DESIGN: 6. Specify all switches, receptacles, and controls within 15 to 48 inches of the floor (To include thermostat controls), 1003.9. FLOOR PLAN: 7. Show the direction of slope for the garage floor, R309.1. 8. Define the three digit keynotes that are surrounded by a rectangle. 9. Specify water conservation requirements: Water closets = 1.6 gallons per flush, Sinks = 2.2 gpm, Showerheads = 2.5 gpm, P2903.2. 43. Shower and tub/shower combinations that have individual control valves shall be of the pressure balance or thermostatic mixing valve type, P2708.3. 44. Specify the location of the gas fired furnace and wall heater per gas schedule. 45. Gas appliance schedule must include all gas-fired appliance in both buildings and pipe sizing respectively unless separate gas meters will be provided for each building, G2413. 46. Provide gray drain-line discharge of all second story bathing fixtures through an exterior-wall drop for future gravity distribution. Include an aliened purple colored 2" vertical drop to a cleanout cap 2' above grade, Ordinance #10579/11089. MECHANICAL PLAN: 47. Provide complete mechanical system calculations in accordance with ACCA Manual J/S/D for each forced air unit, M1401.3, M1601.1. 48.
