Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 2. Revise the font size used on drawing DA-1 to a minimum of 3/32-inch. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 3. The water pressure calculations note a maximum pressure of 81 PSI. Provide a water pressure regulator (with a strainer) to reduce the maximum pressure to less than 80 PSI. Reference: Section 604.8, IPC 2012. 4. Clarify which material is to be used for the water distribution piping above grade. The plumbing notes list both Type M copper and "Thermoguard" (PEX?). Reference: Section 605.4, IPC 2012. 5. Verify the minimum flow required to initiate heating for the specified water heater. The specification sheet for the Eemax model EX65T-FS lists 0.5 GPM but the factory installation instructions give a minimum flow as0.6 GPM. The maximum flow for a lavatory is 0.5 GPM. Reference: Section 607.1, IPC 2012. 6. Install a cleanout downstream of the backwater valve for maintenance of the building sewer. Note that the 3" cleanout located in the restroom will be adequate for maintaining the building drain and the building sewer up stream of the backwater valve. Reference: Section 708.3.5, IPC 2012. |
