The mechanical plan indicates the proposed location of the rooftop condensing units but the fan coil units are not shown on the mechanical plan. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 5. Coordinate the mechanical plans with the electrical plans. The mechanical plans show nine split systems (actually only 7 ½ systems - the condensing unit for AC-8 is missing) and four exhaust fans but the electrical drawings show three packaged rooftop units and two exhaust fans. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 6. Provide structural calculations to verify that the proposed roof is capable of supporting the point loads due to the installation of the roof top units. Show that the equipment is being installed in accordance with the conditions of its listing and the manufacturer's installation requirements (e.g. maximum supply air delivery, maximum allowable outside air when operating at high ambient temperatures, etc.). Reference: Section 304.1, IMC 2012. 9. Show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drains from the fan coil units and for the ductless split system. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2012 as amended by the City of Tucson. 10. Provide auxiliary drain pans or secondary drain systems for the fan coil units. Reference: Section 307.2.3 IMC 2012. 11.
