Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. 2. Verify the structural calculations for the support of the heat pump; the structural plans call for a maximum unit weight of 500 ponds but the mechanical plans indicate a weight of 625 pounds. Reference: Section 302.1, IMC 2012.
3. Verify that the operation and maintenance clearance on the power inlet side of the heat pump is adequate and that the equipment is being installed in accordance with the conditions of its listing and the manufacturer's installation requirements. Reference: Section 304.1, IMC 2012.
