The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Specify the length of the gas supply piping from the meter to the furthest appliance measured along the center line of the gas pipe. Note: if the length is greater than 20 feet then a 1" line will be required from the meter to the first branch for the proposed demand. 2. Provide Manual D calculations for the design of the duct work in accordance with M1401.3, M1601.1. 3. Provide load calculations for the existing 100amp service panel that include the proposed air conditioning load or specify a service upgrade to accommodate the new 30 amp over current device. 4.
