12/17/2013 | LEERAY HANLY | BUILDING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. PREVIOUS COMMENT 4; SHEET A.003; EGRESS/OCCUPANT LOAD DIAGRAM: THE SQUARE FOOTAGE AND OCCUPANT LOAD VERBIAGE ON THE DIAGRAM STILL DO NOT MEET THE CITY OF TUCSON MINIMUM HEIGHT REQUIREMENT (3/32"). 2. PREVIOUS COMMENT 24; SHEET S1.00; GENERAL STRUCTURAL NOTES (FOUNDATIONS): A COPY OF THE SOIL REPORT WAS NOT PROVIDED FOR THE CITY OF TUCSON REVIEW. 3. PREVIOUS COMMENT 40; SHEET S3.00; DETAIL 111: THE DETAIL REFERENCE IN NOTE 9 WAS NOT REVISED. 4. SHEET A.001; SHEET INDEX: REVISE THE INDEX TO INCLUDE SHEETS S1.00A, S1.00B, S1.01A, S1.01B, S3.00A, S3.00B, S4.00A, AND S4.00B. 5. GENERAL: PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES TO ALL REVIEW COMMENTS. |
12/20/2013 | LEERAY HANLY | PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Original comment (1) not addressed-- "Clarify the plumbing code to be used for this activity. The plumbing notes on sheet P.201 refer to the 2012 IPC but the Regulatory Agency Summary on sheet A.001 and the Applicable Codes, Criteria and Policy notes on sheet A.003 refer to the 2012 UPC. This review has been made using the 2012 IPC." Architecural sheets still indicate the use of the 2012 UPC. |
12/20/2013 | LEERAY HANLY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Previous correction comments (5 & 6) were not fully addressed. "Provide specifications for the proposed scrubber along with details showing its installation requirements. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012." & "Show that the make-up air unit and the scrubber can be installed between the ceiling and the existing second floor slab and have adequate space for operation and maintenance access per the manufacturer's installation instructions. Reference: Sections 304.1 and 306.1, IMC 2012." The specifications and details provided for the installation are incomplete. We trust that you have verified adequate space as our preliminary research shows found that the listed PCU has an external dimension of 58" yet the space to install it is only 42" tall. We accept that the information we found on-line may not be accurate, so please provide the cut-sheets for the equipment to include actual dimensions of the equipement. 2. Previous correction comment (11) not fully addressed: "Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fan so that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted The exhausted air from the restrooms shall be limited to no more than 10% of any subsequent supply air stream. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2012." You have not provided a sequence of operation for EF2 which meets this requirement. EF2 is currently noted as being switched with the light which in turn is on an occupancy sensor. How do you intend to ensure EF2 is energized whenever AH1 kicks on? If it is your intent to place EF1 and EF2 on time switches then specify the switches (7day, 24 hour required) as they are not included as part of the electrical drawings. |
