This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

PREVIOUS COMMENTS:
"...fire rating construction...all projections that fall within 2' to 3' of property line, R302."
Specify fire rated overhang at porch enclosure or indicate that the overhang will not extend into the 36" fire separation area adjoining the property line.

"...show how GLB...is connected to existing adobe wall."
Structural calculation sheets 5-9 do not indicate connection of floor system to existing adobe wall. Previously approved drawings request field verification of wall condition. Specify connection and support of proposed floor system to existing adobe walls.

"Electrical sub-panel may not be located in attic storage."
The subpanel has been relocated to another area previously designated as storage and now designated as a mechanical room. Verify the minimum working clearance available in front of the proposed electrical panel location meets the minimum 6.5 foot clear height required by E3405.2.
