The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN: 1. Justify size of roof framing beams for proposed span and loads. The following structural members are undersized for the proposed design: Beam at (existing) carport Beam at (e) porch Ridge at (e) porch Beam(s) at (new) rear patio PLUMBING PLAN: 2. Specify location of underground gas piping. Any underground gas piping beneath buildings shall be encased in an approved sealed & vented conduit, G2415.14. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 3. All meters shall be located on an exterior house or garage wall, but not under a carport, breezeway, patio, porch, or area that can be enclosed with building expansion, TEP SR-304.
