2. Indirect waste piping that is greater than 30-inches in horizontal developed length or greater than 54-inches in total developed length shall be trapped. Reference: Section 802.2, IPC 2012.
3. Verify that all horizontal branch vents, relief vents, or loop vents located indoors are located at least 6" above the flood rim of the highest fixture served. Reference: Section 905.5, IPC 2012.
4. Island venting shall not be used for fixtures other than lavatories or sinks (i.e. not floor sinks). Reference: Section 916.1, IPC 2012.
5. Detail 7/P-1.2 shows the island vent attaching to a "waste trunk line or lateral" which implies that multiple fixtures are being drained by the "waste trunk line or lateral". An island vent shall attach to a fixture drain (a drain serving the trap of a single fixture), not to a fixture branch (a drain serving two or more fixtures). Reference: Sections 202 and 916.2, IPC 2012.
6. Revise detail 7/P-1.2 to provide accessible cleanouts in the island sink vent system to permit rodding of all portions of the vents located below the flood rim of the fixture (i.e. add a cleanout for the vent rising in the wall). Reference: Section 916.3, IPC 2012.
