Meyer Applicant: Mary Jo Curtin This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. The City of Tucson has adopted the 2012 International family of codes. Correct reference to 2006 IRC on sheet 5. Correct all mislabeled electric code references on sheet 7. PLUMBING PLAN: 2. Include all plumbing fixtures on water supply calculation, P2903.6. 3. Correct gas label reference pointing to water supply line. 4. Correct 'existing' label on new water supply line. MECHANICAL PLAN: 5. Provide Manual D calculations for duct design, M1601.1. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 6. All outlets specified in section E3902.12 shall be protected with combination-type arc-fault breakers (not just bedroom outlets). 7. Specify faceplate grounding per E4001.11.1. 8. Specify tamper resistant receptacles per E4002.14. INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE: 9. Correct note 8 on section VI sheet 7 for minimum ceiling insulation.
