This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. The City of Tucson has adopted the 2012 International family of codes. As of 1/01/2013 all code references should refer to the currently adopted code or appeal must be made to the Building Official for alternate code use. Correct references on sheet P1.0

SECTIONS - DETAILS:
2. Provide one hour fire-rated wall design detail. Note: This design must be rated from both sides.

MECHANICAL PLAN:
3. Provide Manual J/S/D calculations for the forced air unit in accordance with M1401.3, M1601.1.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
4. Provide a GFCI protected receptacle for each lavatory basin, E3703.4, E3901.6.

OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE
5. Provide cut sheets for all FCO fixtures showing the angle of cutoff, light emissions and fixture wattage. All other fixtures are assumed to be unshielded (non-FCO style).
