NEC 2011,408.3, the higher voltage leg shall be Phase B. Since this panel is being upgraded, has to be brought to current code. 2. The #12 conductors being tapped from the 300MCM AL conform with the 10' tap rule of 2011 NEC 240..21.B. with 25a divided by 200a fuse at Main disconnect being over the 10% required, however the # 12 conductors must end being protected by an overcurrent device per it's ampacity. 3. Describe the method to be used at junction boxes on the roof used to splice the 300MCM AL, #6 CU and the #12 CU conductors. 4. 2011 NEC requires ampacity adjustments for raceways exposed to Sunlight on roofs per 310.15.B.3.C.
