2. Sheet A110 shows what appear to be existing tank-type water closets but flush valve water closets are to replace the existing water closets. Table 604.3, IPC 2012 requires a design capacity of 25 GPM for supply pipes serving siphonic flush-valve water closets. If tank-type water closets are being replaced by flush-valve water closets, verify that the water velocity in the existing supply pipes will not exceed the maximum velocity recommended by the piping manufacturer or accepted engineering practice (e.g. 8 FPS in copper tubing). Reference: Sections 303.2 and 604.1, IPC 2012.
3. Verify that the relief ports for the specified backflow preventers (Zurn 740) are directed to an approved indirect waste receptor so that water leakage will not cause damage. Reference: Section 608.14, IPC 2012.
4. Show how the 3-compartment sink is to be installed. Reference: Sections 801.2 and 802.1.8, IPC 2012.
