Eli Dr Applicant: Robert Anderson This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Clarify if the air conditioning and furnace shown on the plan is included in the scope of work. Note: new systems are required to be designed in accordance with ACCA manuals J, D, S. FLOOR PLAN: 2. Openings are not permitted between a garage and a sleeping room, R302.5. Provide ½ hour fire separation between garage and storage room with solid core self-closing door or eliminate the opening to the sleeping room from the garage area. SECTIONS - DETAILS: 3. Clarify the roof to wall connection on the right side of section B and section C drawings. 4. Indicate the proposed ceiling coverings. PLUMBING PLAN: 5. Provide gas pipe drawing with sizes, lengths, and demands of each branch line for the proposed meter relocation. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 6. Justify the feeder conductor size proposed for the back feed to the existing service panel or size according to Table E3705.1.
