| 02/20/2013 | ROBERT SHERRY | WATER | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Tucson Water limits a 2" meter to a maximum demand of 120 GPM. The water demand calculations show an existing fixture count of 375 (100 GPM demand) with a future fixture count of 631 for a total demand of approximately 148 GPM. Provide a letter from Tucson Water confirming that the use of a 2" water meter will be allowed for this project. 2. Clarify the design of the proposed water service; on sheet P201 the service pipe is 2-1/2" with a 2-1/2" RPBP but the water pressure calculations on sheet P301call for a 2" RPBP served by an existing 3" water line. (Note that the pressure loss for the specified 2-1/2" RPBP would be in excess of 13 PSI for the calculated demand.) |
