- See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes.

- I do suggest an office meeting to discuss finer details of the intersection improvement.

1. Sheet 1 - The sheet numbers shown on the cover page do not correspond to the actual sheet that the information is on.

2. Sheet 5 - Paving Detail - This detail calls for 2 inches over 4 inches of ABC. I would like you to match the pavement section of Tanque Verde for the portion northof the concrete valley gutter and for the patch to the east of the drive. The proposed paving section is fine for the area south of the concrete valley gutter.

SUBJECT: Tanque Verde Rd and Catalina Highway - I-2012-012, T12PI00013

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, DOT, Permits and Codes Section

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan not recommends approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal.

1. Include the plan number "I-2012-012" in title block of each sheet.

2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number (T12PI0013) on cover sheet.

3. Correct Grading Notes #3 to include final testing and acceptance to be performed by TDOT Engineering.
4. All pavement within existing Tanque Verde Roadway prism shall match existing pavement section.

5. Show radii of both corners as indicated.

6. Dimension all sidewalk widths.

7. Per COT SD200 sidewalk shall have a max 3:1 taper. Both corners indicated appear to have a 1:1 taper.

8. Plans show the ADA Ramp landing on the southeast corner does not have the minimum slope requirements per SD 207. Please revise so drainage is always towards the pavement and not onto the landing.

9. Add Sight Visibility Triangles at intersections.

10. Add Spandrels to Valley Gutter per SD208.
11. Call out pavement section for new driveway.

12. Pavement section needs to match the Geotechnical recommendations at a minimum.

13. Curb along Tanque Verde from Sta. 21+26.79 Rt. to 22+36.22 Rt. Needs to match existing Type 1 Curb. Correct keynote 1 to reflect Type 1 Curb.

14. Add keynote 8 " 6" Type 1G Vertical Curb and Gutter per SD209.

15. Curb raddi at Catalina Highway & Tanque Verde shall be Type 1G from BCR to ECR and transition on-site to Type2 Vertical Curb.
