PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, DOT, Permits and Codes Section Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA plan set for the subject project and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. Please provide a written response to each comment and include red line drawings with re-submittal. 1. Include the plan number "U-2012-003" in title block of each sheet. 2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number "T12PI00003" on cover sheet. 3. Delineate ADOT right-of-way limits or Federal Access Control limits within if within the project area. 4. Use COT Bus Bay Standard Detail (Rev. 6/10) for construction details of the proposed Bus Bay. See attached. 5. Clearly label and reference cross section and details. 6. Lighten line weights for existing structures as per drawing legend. 7. Please submit copies of the PIA paving plans to the following utilities and provide this office with a Utility Plan Receipt from each of the utility companies: City of Tucson Transportation Department, Streets Division Tucson Water Pima County, Wastewater Management Qwest Communications Tucson Electric Power Southwest Gas Corp. El Paso Natural Gas* Kinder Morgan Energy* * When the above two utilities are not involved, a form filled out with the "RECEIVED BY:" line stating "not needed" may be submitted.
