Engineering Division of Planning & Development Services Department does not recommend approval until the following comments are addressed. COMMENTS: 1) 7.14.4: Provide hydrology report showing that proposed structures that are being improved are not within the floodplain. Otherwise, project will be required to submit substantial improvement paperwork: a) Provide the total cost of the improvements for this project. See attached guideline (page 8-8) for sample of items that are included or excluded. Keep in mind that all future improvements will be cumulative in percentage, to include this project. (item vii below) b) Provide existing value (assessor value or appraisal not including the land) of each of the structure(s) for this project. (item vi below) c) Supply the following for all work to be authorized for this permit application: i) An 8-1/2" x 11" map locating proposed improved structures on this parcel ii) Title of improvement iii) Description of improvement iv) Provide all related permit activity number(s) v) Type of assessment used for valuation of the proposed improvements vi) Value of the existing building structure vii) Value of proposed improvement in U.
