The applicant is authorized to use a portion of City of Tucson jurisdictional floodplain, specifically described as:
1308 E 8TH ST, Tucson Arizona 85719, within Township 14S, Range 14E, Section 7, Parcel 124-08-1510, DRAKES LOT 3 & E2 LOT 2 BLK 21, Lat 32.2248, Long 110.95215,
for the purpose of checking existing structure elevation within Paseo Grande Wash floodplain.
The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard, and if applicable, Watercourse Amenities, Safety and Habitat regulations, and are particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, County, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under the City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit.

The following 12 conditions apply to permit T12OT00474:
1) For a PDSD Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or contact PDSD Engineering at 837-4991, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html
2) Floodplain Use Permit & plans shall be kept in readily accessible location on site at all times.
3) No disturbance is permitted other than area within the lot and as shown on the approved plans.
4) From floodplain data derived from FIS Profile 112P, BFE = 2413.30 NAVD88. Minimum FFE elevation = 2414.30.
5) Submit Elevation Certification by a Land Surveyor registered in the State of Arizona for existing finished construction. PDSD Engineering has the preliminary elevation certificate filled out for the RLS to use, as needed. El Cert is needed for Finished-Construction. Assure the lowest elevation of the existing utility equipment servicing the building is provided in C2e) and E4 on finished construction el cert. Notations should be added to clarify type of equipment and location. Submit color photos for Item A6 of the Elevation Certificates. Assure the El Cert is provided to the City of Tucson PDSD Engineering Division prior to submitting site plan.
6) PDSD Engineering Inspections are required prior to final floodplain inspection.
7) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, and through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T12OT00363. FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550."
8) Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties.
9) This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit changes the configuration of the improvement, or, if there is any further disturbance within the floodplain other than that outlined in this application. This floodplain use permit may be subject to conditions or restrictions designed to reduce or mitigate the potential damage or hazard to life or property resulting from development within the regulatory floodplain, floodway or erosion hazard areas as determined by the project engineer and accepted by the City of Tucson and PCRFCD.

This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid for non-compliance to conditions set forth in this permit. Also, this permit will expire 2 years from its date of issue. Renewal of this permit will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Planning & Development Services Department, Engineering Division.
