Planning & Development Services Department Engineering Division has reviewed the received items and does not recommend approval of the Floodplain Use Permit until the following comments are addressed. FPUP COMMENTS: 1) DS Sec.10-02.14.5.8: Floodplain Section staff shall review post construction percolation test results, submitted prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, in order to verify performance of the proposed subsurface retention system. Add as a note to plan. 2) DS Sec.10-02.14.5.9: Regarding drain down time for the subsurface retention system, the rate of drainage shall be based on the results of a standard percolation test and a factor of safety of two (i.e., divide the field-test percolation rate by two). Show on plans. 3) DS Sec.10-01.3.5.5.2: The design shall show details for the provision of sediment trapping that can be removed easily for disposal. Show on plans. 4) DS Sec.10-02: Address the following other drainage related comments: a. Assure all locations of proposed 100-yr floodplain are delineated and labeled. b.
