| 08/21/2013 | RAY MAJUTA | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | T12CM07961 700 W Wetmore Rd #01 Fixed OPS Bldg. 1.Sheet ESC101A, Outdoor Lighting Calculations are incorrect. Using Option 2 in the E3 area allows 250,000 lumens of Full Cut of Lighting, you show that 250,000 lumens is to be used however you use 300,000 to multiply the 7.126 acres for 2,137,800 Lumens when it should be 1,781,500 L. Do not understand what is meant by allowable installed lumens ? The asterisk which should signify "lamp used for Security Night Lighting" does not show up on plans as to where Security Night Lighting is located ? Indicate on plan which lights to be used as Security. Chapter 7 of Outdoor Lighting Code 701.3 -special use lighting exempt from lumen count and source color temperature restrictions , curfew restrictions apply. Security lighting for special use areas, has to comply with 701.5-- comply with lumen count and color rated temperature minimum 3500K for source. These items to be distinctly shown on plan. The fixture specification sheets do not identify color rated temperature ? The Fixture Schedule on plan indicated T1 thur T4 as KAE3, the spec sheet shows as KSF2 ? Are receptacles shown on sheet EP102 to be GFCI protected per 511.12 of NEC ? Could not find in notes. Ray T Majuta Elect Plan Review PDSD, C of Tuc 8/22/2013 Ray.Majuta@tucsonaz.gov 520/837/4988 |
