This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. SITE PLAN: 1. Include the location of the barrier between the house and the pool per IRC amendment PLUMBING PLAN: 2. Provide a water fixture unit schedule for the entire property (including existing) P2903.6. 3. Tucson Water Department limits 5/8" water meters to a maximum of 11 IRC fixture units or 15 gallons per minute. Specify a ¾" water meter upgrade. INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE: 4. Specify the "R" value of the insulation greater to or equal to the prescriptive requirements or submit justified analysis. The simplified prescribed energy values for ceilings = R-30, N1102.1.
