The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. The City of Tucson has adopted the 2012 International family of codes. As of 1/01/2013 all code references should refer to the currently adopted code or appeal must be made to the Building Official for alternate code use on electrical drawing. 2. Bonding note on electrical riser diagram should not point to the grounding icon. Grounding and bonding are both required, E3607/8 3. Show full batt insulation over the new exterior wall that meets the minimum prescriptive value, N1102.1. 4. Show the location of the proposed post under the new glulam beams, R801.2.
