This site is in the HO-3 Zone. Historic review is required (UDC Sections 3.3.7 and 5.8.5). (This project is scheduled for historic review.)

A single-family residence is a permitted use in this zone (UDC Section 4.7.15).

The minimum setback is the greater of six (6) feet, or two-thirds (2/3) the height of the structure's wall facing each interior property line (Table 6.3-2.A). The height of the proposed garage addition is ten (10) feet, six (6) inches. The required setback is seven (7) to the east property line. The proposed setback is five (5) feet.

The minimum setback to a side street property line is ten (10) feet (UDC Section 6.4.5.C.1.b). The propose setback for the detached sleeping quarters is one (1) foot to the west, side-street property line.
