They should be sized per 250.66 since they are ahead of any overcurrent devices. 3. The feeders from the 800 amp Main to the existing SES do not show an equipment ground. 4. Roof feeders in conduit, the 600 amp Main using two sets of 350MCM at 310 amps need to be derated due to exposure to sun and heat. Example,if using THWN or XHHW 90 degree C at .82 Correction Factor (114 to 122 degrees F), (the 310 amps X.82= 508.4 amps). The 600 amp feeder shown may be insufficient, please respond. 5. Sheet E4.2, panel schedule for EM-1 circuit 9 lists "exterior EM light at Generator", Sheet E2.0 shows the same circuit as receptacle power in post-op. 6. New Panels EM-1,G and H are located in the Supplies and Storage Room. There appears to be shelving being installed in this room, indicate on power plan clearance per 110.26 is required. Provide roof drainage calculations and plans for the new roofs and for those roofs for which the roof drainage is being modified. Provide overflow protection for the roofs. Reference: Sections 1101, 1106 and 1107, IPC 2006. 8. Clarify the natural gas pipe sizing calculations. The design criteria shown on sheet M9.3 specifies a pressure drop of 0.5-inches of water but the gas sizing table referenced is based on a pressure drop of 0.3-inches of water. With either pressure drop, most of the pipe sizes are for the common pipes are incorrect. Reference: Section 402.3, IFGC 2006. |
