This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. SITE PLAN: 1. Update square footage calculations based on new layout. FLOOR PLAN: 2. Show existing interior doors that will remain in existing areas. STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN: 3. Provide an attic space ventilation calculation and note the size and location of all attic vents needed to comply, R806.2. 4. Justify header sizes over garage door, R801.2. 5. Clarify roof drainage discharge over utility room. 6. Minimum 8 feet of gypsum must be used for interior faced braced wall panels, R602.10.4. PLUMBING PLAN: 7. Provide a vent for the bathtub in bathroom #3. 8. Show the location of the temperature and pressure relief line from the water heater, P2803.6.1. 9. Clarify diameter of water supply line. Is it 1" or 1ΒΌ"? ELECTRICAL PLAN: 10. Heating and cooling loads must be calculated at 100% in load calculation, Table E3502.2.
