This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. FLOOR PLAN: 1. Show the location of attic access min. 22"x30", R807. PLUMBING PLAN: 2. Tucson Water Department limits 5/8" water meters to a maximum of 11 IRC fixture units or 15 gallons per minute. Specify a ¾" water meter upgrade. 3. Specify the developed length of the water supply system from the meter to the furthest fixture served and the lowest available water pressure with a pressure loss calculation, P2903.7. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 4. Provide two or more 2O-amp circuits to supply the small appliance receptacles along kitchen counter tops. Such circuits shall be GFCI protected and shall not serve other rooms (except breakfast areas, pantries, etc.), E3801.3 5. Justify the quantity of recessed can lights specified on the 15-amp circuit number 15. 6. Bedroom outlets shall be protected with combination-type arc-fault breakers (including smoke detectors), E3802.12.
