A note on sheet P2.1.1 for the installation of the sink in the staff lounge calls for the air admittance valve to be installed "tight to underside of the counter". The air admittance valve shall be installed per the manufacturer's instructions, i.e. vertical, with sufficient clearance for removal. Reference: Section 303.2, IPC 2006.
2. Verify that the temperature mixing valve specified for the hot water distribution from WHR-A-1 is also conforms to ASSE 1070. Reference: Section 416.5, IPC 2006.
3. This building appears to be receiving all new water service from a new 3" water meter and backflow preventer and is not dependent upon any existing, unknown piping. Designing a water distribution system solely based upon water velocity can result in inadequate water pressure or flow rates at the fixtures. Provide water pressure and water pipe sizing calculations. Reference: Sections 604.1 and 604.3, IPC 2006.
4. Verify that all of the vents rise vertically to at least 6" above the flood rims of the fixtures they protect prior to running horizontally. Reference: Section 905.4, IPC 2006.
5. Provide drainage calculations and plans for the new roof sections including sizing information for the roof scupper and downspout. Provide overflow protection for the roof. Reference: Sections 1101, 1106 and 1107, IPC 2006.

Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the additions to the building envelope.
