Accessibility reviews require this information (IBC 1107.5) Please clarify how this facility either meets all accessibility requirements or how this scope of work conforms to IBC 3409.6 & 3409.7. (new alterations are subject to up to 20% of construction costs being applied toward more accessibility.) -- Specifically none of these rooms meet the requirements for type A dwelling units. Please dimension your toilet rooms for verification of required clearances. Architectural plans do not indicate medical gas installations planned to be installed within existing smoke barriers. Please provide cut sheets and details for any equipment to be located within wall cavity, and specify firestop systems for all penetrations of these walls. IBC 709, 712 PP A5 flooring in restrooms to extend 6" up walls. Coordinate mechanical and architectural sheets to show compliance with IBC 710 for duct penetrations of smoke partitions. Mechanical sheets call for fire dampers. Please coordinate with architectural pages if you are to install fire dampers. Include information for what rating you wish to maintain at the corridor wall as well as cut-sheets, installation details, and correct firestop systems. |
