Reference: Section 304, IFGC 2006. 2. Verify the input loads for the gas-fired kitchen appliances; the kitchen plans show the combination griddle, range and oven requires 90 MBH, not 60 MBH. Adjust the pipe sizes as required. (The kitchen plans also call out appliance #6 which is described as both a range and a work table, as having an input of 227 MBH.) Reference: Section 402.1 and 402.3, IFGC 2006. 3. Specify the materials to be used for the gas piping. Reference: Section 403.1, IFGC 2006. 4. Show the vent for the water heater on the plans. Show how the vent for the water heater has been sized, including the vent materials, the total vent height, offset dimensions, and the size of the draft hood on the appliance. Reference: Sections 503.6.9 and 504.2.2, IFGC 2006. 5. Show that the termination of the vent for the gas-fired water heater complies with the requirements of Section 503.8 (3), IFGC 2006. 6.
