This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Correct numbering for general notes sheet 3. 2. Correct code references for braced wall panels (Sheet 3- R602.103, R6023) 3. Compensate for venting in existing eave blocking covered with new roof structure. 4. UPC and IRC are not interchangeable codes. Correct all plumbing references sheet 5. 5. Duct insulation must be a minimum R-8 when located outside the thermal envelope, R1103.2.1. 6. All bedroom outlets shall be protected with combination-type arc-fault breakers (including receptacles, lights, and smoke detectors- circuits 11, 13), E3802.12.
