The proposed Symmons faucet does not appear to conform to ASSE 1070. Reference: Section 416.5, IPC 2006. 3. Revise the water pipe sizing table on sheet P0.0 for the pipes larger than 1" to limit the water velocity to less than 8 FPS for the copper piping. Reference: Table 604.4, footnote (c), IPC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson. 4. Clarify the size of the branch piping to the water closets. If the 1" fixture connection sizes called out for the flush valves in the Plumbing Fixture Schedule is used for the branch piping, it will result in water velocities greater than 8 FPS. Limit the water velocity to less than 8 FPS for the copper piping. Reference: Table 604.4, footnote (c), IPC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson. 5. Clarify the purpose of the 3-compartment sink in the break room; is it used solely for food preparation or will it also be used to clean serving items (e.g. the coffee airpots that are used daily in the store)?
