Note #5 is appropriate for the 2006 International Plumbing Code (IPC) but is incorrect under the UPC. This has a direct impact on the required cleanouts for the restroom. As currently drawn, the restroom cleanouts are acceptable per Section 708.3.3, IPC 2006 but additional cleanouts will be required per Section 707.5, UPC 2006 (alternatively, the 4" drain could be straightened out to eliminate the problem). Changing the controlling code may result in additional comments. [Original comment: See sheet P0.0- General Plumbing Notes: Sanitary and Vent Systems #5 is in reference to 2006 IPC 708.3.3. TRANSMITTAL DATE: November 7, 2012

1. The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. Remove the "DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE PDSD APPROVAL" stamp from the building plans.

3. Zoning can not approve the building plan until a development package has been approved.

4. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved development package. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
