Specify the type of backflow prevention device required for each water connection. Reference: Sections 602.3, 603.0, and Table 6-2, UPC 2006. 6. Each piece of equipment (e.g. carbonators) requiring backflow protection shall be independently protected. Reference: Sections 602.2 and 603.0, UPC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson. 7. Provide separate indirect waste pipes for the ice maker and the ice storage bin. Reference: Section 801.2.3, UPC 2006. 8. Correct the sizes of the branch gas piping serving the fryers (21E) and the Chinese range (20Q); based on a developed pipe length of 150-feet, these pipes are too small.
