Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:
The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

SITE PLAN:
1. Specify location of electric service feeders to the POA.
2. The water supply to all new multi-family residential buildings shall be individually metered for each dwelling unit, 301.4.1 as amended.

FLOOR PLAN:
3. The walls and soffit of the enclosed space under stairs shall be protected on the enclosed side with ½" gypsum board, R311.2.2.

SECTIONS - DETAILS:
4. Show two anchor bolts per plate on section details, R403.1.6.

PLUMBING PLAN:
5. Note: Segregation of first floor lavatories is optional in this situation.
6. Specify location of washing machine gray water discharge on first floor plumbing layout.
7. Specify the size of all plumbing vents, UPC 904.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
8. Correct electrical riser diagram
o Feeders from one service panel may not pass through another service panel
o Specify size of conduit and feeder conductors to service panels
o Clarify grounding method (ICF?)
9. Provide smoke detectors in hallways leading to bedrooms on the second floor, R313.
10. Show receptacle outlets at wall spaces 2' or more so that no point along the wall (excluding door openings) is more than 6' from a receptacle outlet, E3801.2.
