The mechanical floor plan shows several HVAC diffusers located within twice the diameter of the large ceiling fans which is not recommended by the fan manufacturer. Revise the mechanical design so that the equipment is being installed in accordance with the conditions of its listing and the manufacturer's installation requirements. Reference: Section 304.1, IMC 2006. 5. Revise the mechanical design as required to avoid using the corridor in the area of the tanning rooms as a return air duct. Reference: Section 601.2, IMC 2006. 6. Show how the existing hydronic piping is to be relocated, the pipe sizes, and the required insulation for the pipes. The plumbing General Notes on sheet P1.0 refer to the 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code but the "GOV.'N CODES" notes on sheet TS refer to the 2006 IPC. This review has been made using the 2006 IPC. 4. Revise the font size used on the drawings to a minimum of 3/32-inch. Reference: Section 106.1.1, IBC 2006. 5. Provide the scale for the plumbing floor plan. Reference: Section 106.3.1, IPC 2006. 6. The maximum flow rates for plumbing fixtures shall be consistent with ARS Title 45, Chapter 1, Article 12. See text at: (http://www.azleg.state.az.us/ArizonaRevisedStatutes.asp). 7. Provide plumbing plans for all of the new work, including water isometrics and waste and vent isometrics. Show the location of all required cleanouts on the waste and vent isometrics. Show how the new piping relates to the existing systems and show that the additional connections do not cause the existing piping to be overloaded. Reference: Sections 102.4 and 106.3.1, IPC 2006. 8. Correct detail F/P3.0; if the specified water heater is not supplied with integral heat traps, provide heat traps (not "heat trace") on the supply and discharge piping.
