04/05/2012 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied The A/C unit is required to be running whenever the facility is occupied in order to provide the required ventilation. The revised schedule of operation for the exhaust fans, with the override function of the wall switch, does not appear to address this issue. [Original comment: Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans so that all of the air supplied to the new restroom will be exhausted. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2006.]
04/05/2012 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied Comment not resolved; keynote #12 refers to a "funnel fitting at the upstream side of the trap serving adjacent sink". Show how this is to be done. Reference: Sections 801.5, 804.1 and 1001.2, UPC 2006. Note also, that Wade does not make backflow preventers; I think you must mean Watts. [Original comment: Provide indirect connections for the sterilizer and for the drain of the reduced pressure backflow preventer to the sanitary drain system using an air gap. A "y connection at the sink tailpiece" is not acceptable (keynote 12, P-1). Reference: Section 801.5, UPC 2006.]
