2. The specified lavatory faucets are designed for a flow rate of 2.2 GPM. According to ARS Title 45, Chapter 1, Article 12, 45-313, the maximum flow rate for lavatory faucets shall be no more than an average of one-half gallon of water per minute at a pressure of eighty PSI or they shall be equipped with a mechanism that causes the faucet to close automatically after delivering no more than one-fourth gallon of water.
3. Show how the temperature of the hot water supply to the public lavatories is controlled. Reference: Section 413.1, UPC 2006 and Section 504.3, IECC 2006.
4. Provide backflow protection for the freeze-proof yard hydrant located at grade and provide signage for the hydrant to indicate that the water is non-potable. Reference: Sections 601.2 and 602.3, UPC 2006.
5. Provide a detail of the water heater installation, including the excess pressure relief, expansion tank, vacuum relief, and valves. Reference: Sections 103.2.3, 605.5, 608.3, and 608.7 UPC 2006.
6. Provide for sterilization of the domestic water piping per Section 609.9, UPC 2006.
7. Provide end of run cleanout at mop sink and WC-1. Reference: Section 707.4, UPC 2006.
