Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. Reference: Sections 101.4 and 104.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2006.

The water calculations are based on Appendix A, UPC 2006 but the fixture units used for the water closets are for tank-type units and not the specified flush valve water closets. Revise the fixture units and use the correct demand curve from Chart A-3, UPC 2006. Include hose bibbs when determining the total number of fixture units. Revise the size of the proposed water meter as required to accommodate the recommended maximum continuous flow per AWWA Standard C700-90. Reference: Section 604.1, IPC 2006.
2. Provide pressure-absorbing devices for the water connections to appliances equipped with quick-acting or solenoid valves (e.g. clothes washer). Reference: Section 604.9, IPC 2006.
3. Verify the material used for the portion of the existing building sewer that will be located below the new building is intact and suitable for use under the building. Reference: Section 703.4 and Table 702.2, IPC 2006.
4. Clarify detail 1/P4.1 with respect to the field-fabricated two-way cleanout assembly. A two-way cleanout is only allowed to be used at the junction of a building drain and a building sewer; not in the middle of a building drain. Reference: Sections 708.3.5 and 708.5, IPC 2006.
5. Show that the building drain has cleanouts located at least every 100 feet.
6. Provide traps for the trench drains. Reference: Section 1002.1, IPC 2006.
