a. As per the 2006 IBC, Section 2902, the minimum number of plumbing fixtures shall be determined by this code i.e. Table 1004.1
2. If the plumbing fixture load is based on anything but comment 1a above (in reference to note on plans: Plumbing fixture load is based upon 25 students per classroom) an appeal to the building official is required.
3. An appeal to the building official is also required not to consider the assembly space for plumbing fixture load as noted on the plans.
4. Please recalculate the plumbing fixture count to the grand total indicated in the Occupancy Tabulation chart. I believe the occupancy load sum 645.
5. Door 115 may not be used as a required exit as doors 111B (s/b 114A) and 114 (s/b 114B) are lockable. An exit access shall not pass through a room that can be locked to prevent passage; 2006 IBC, Section 1014.2 (3).

6. The detectable warnings are located in the wrong location in the sidewalk accessible route for the marked crossing. As per ICC A 117.1, Section 406.12, 13 and 14. Marked crossing shall be preceded by a 2' deep detectable warning extending to the full width of the marked crossing and shall be in the direction of travel.
7. At the most Northerly marked crossing, if flared sides are to be used they must have a slope of not less than 1:10; ICC A 117.1, Section 406.3. Flared sides are not required in this situation. Return curbs might be a better solution.
