NOTE: THE COMMENTS BELOW APPLY IF TDOT DOES NOT INCLUDE THIS DESIGN INTO THE RTA 'KINO PARKWAY OVERPASS AT 22ND STREET' PROJECT. THE DEVELOPER WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY IN-LIEU FEES TO TDOT IF THIS DESIGN IS INCORPORATED INTO THE NOTED RTA PROJECT.

Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed.

1. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes.

2. Along 22nd Street ensure that all existing signs that are effected by the off-site improvements and are applicable to the roadway remain in place or relocated to an appropriate location. If damaged or unsuitable for reuse then replace with new sign and/or post.

3. Place the PIA and CDRC Case number on the cover sheet.

4. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans:


USE 2" SQUARE-TUBE POST AND SQUARE TUBE POST FOUNDATIONS FOR SIGNING.

BARRICADE PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF TUCSON TRAFFIC ENGINEERING FOR APPROVAL 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF ANY WORK IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY.'

'ALL NON-SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION STREET NAMES MUST HAVE E-W BLOCK NUMBER ADDRESSES FOR E-W ROADWAYS AND N-S BLOCK NUMBER ADDRESSES FOR N-S ROADWAYS.'
