Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed.

1. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes.

2. An existing light pole is impacted with the installation of the proposed right turn lane. Confirm with Ernie Encinas that the new location is acceptable to the city.

3. Place the PIA and CDRC Case number on the cover sheet.

SUBJECT: GRANT ROAD RIGHT TURN LANE IMPROVEMENTS (TMC) I-2011-12 T11PI00010, 1st Rev.

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, DOT, Permits and Codes Section

Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal.

1. Include the plan number "I-2010-012" in title block of each sheet.

2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity number "T11PI0010" on cover sheet.

3. Show all symbols and lines used in drawing in the legend

4. Remove all notes pertaining to the "PROMPT PAYMENT STATUE" This verbiage does not apply to City Plans.

5. Sheet C-2: "Modified Valley Gutter Detail" should show proposed all applicable dimensions.

6. Sheet C-2: "Modified Valley Gutter Detail" should depict proposed slotted drain.

7. Sheet C-2: "Modified Valley Gutter Detail", Section A-A: Will a load transfer joint be used to join the proposed perimeter concrete ribbon directing flow into the catch basin and the catch basin structure.

8. Sheet C-5: Clearly indicate existing and new right-of-way in plan view and provide recordation information.

9. Sheet C-5: Indicate Paving Limits in plan view.

10. Sheet C-5: Indicate how the proposed 2% cross slope will be warped into existing pavement slope at intersection around the proposed catch basin..

11. Sheet C-5: Provide Pedestrian access easement for those portions of the proposed sidewalk encroaching onto private property.

12. Sheet C-5: For both access ramps provide a 6-foot wide ramps and 6 foot wide landings to match proposed wide sidewalks.

13. Please submit copies of the PIA paving plans to the following utilities and provide this office with a Utility Plan Receipts from the companies to the City:
