2) Guard height for mezzanine to be 42" min. [IBC 1013]. The guard/handrail for stair is ok per exception to 1013.2.

3) Plumbing plans indicate TPRV and water heater pan to be drained to mop sink. There is no mop sink in this space, a good alternative would be to drain the TPRV through an air gap to a double outlet washer box. The pan may be drained to the laundry sink, but not the TPRV. [2006 UPC SEC. 608.5]
