The plan states that it is to be installed under the 2005 NEC. 690.64.B-- allows only 100% of the rated bus to be used (225 amps) , per the supplying power overcurrent devices being 40 amps and 200 amps-- these equal 240 when the bus is rated at onlu 225 amps. 2. The plan can be used according to the 2008 NEC, however different requirements apply, In order to use according to the 2008 NEC, indicate on the plan that the correct code is to be used and the installation will comply with that year.
