Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:
The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Combustion relief ventilation has been provided to the laundry area but there is not a gas line specified to the clothes dryer, clarify.
2. All bedroom outlets shall be protected with combination-type arc-fault breakers including smoke detectors, E3802.12.
3. Provide a smoke detector outside the door to the master bedroom, R313.
4. Laundry rooms require at least a 20-amp circuit, E3603.3, 3801.8.
5. Show receptacle outlets at wall spaces 2' or more in the living room so that no point along the wall (excluding door openings) is more than 6' from a receptacle outlet, E3801.2.
6. Show the location of attic access min. 22"x30", R807.
7. Provide an attic space ventilation calculation and note the size and location of all attic vents needed to comply, R806.2.
8. Define optional x-bracing material to be used in lieu of wall sheathing (Rough hardware notes sheet S-2)
