The Plumbing Specifications on sheet P9.1 refer to the 2006 UPC but the Code analysis on sheet a1.0 refers to both the 2006 IPC and the 2006 UPC. This review has been made using the 2006 UPC. 2. The specified hydromechanical grease interceptor has a 4" outlet but the downstream pipe is only 3". Any fitting or connection in a drainage system that results in a reduction of the pipe area is prohibited. Reference: Section 316.4.1, UPC 2006. 3. Verify that adequate maintenance space for the hydromechanical grease interceptor is available considering the installation of gas meter and the reduced pressure backflow preventer in the same small area. Reference: Section 1009.5, UPC 2006. |
