Revise the site utility drawing (C2.4) to include this structure. Reference: Section 103.2.3, UPC 2006.
2. The washing equipment specifications call for a minimum water pressure of 40 PSIG. With a site water pressure of only 46 PSIG prior to the water meter and backflow preventer, will a booster pump be required? Provide water pressure calculations and determine the equipment water demand. Assuming that only one water meter serves the site, determine if the total demand for the site exceeds 80 GPM; revise the size of the proposed water meter or add a second water meter to serve the wash bay. Reference: Sections 608.1, 609.8, and 610.2, UPC 2006.
3. Provide backflow protection for equipment directly connected to the water distribution system within the wash bay. Reference: Section 602.0, UPC 2006.
4. Revise the rain gutter sizing for the wash bay based on a storm of 60-minutes duration and a 100-year return period, i.e. 3" per hour. Reference: Section 1101.11.1 and Table 11-3, UPC 2006.
