RESUBMITTAL COMMENTS
Please have an Arizona registered electrical engineer prepare electrical calculations and drawing details to show the following:
a. The existing electrical panel from which the power for the elevator is to be obtained.
b. New Panel load calculations to show that sufficient power is available from that panel and that the phase loads are balanced.
c. The new breaker and size to feed the new elevator motor.
d. The feeder conduit and conductor sizes and the route that they are to take from the existing panel to the new electrical control box of the elevator. Show the location of the new control box/panel.
e. Show all code required disconnects fused as required.
2. Have the electrical engineer seal and provide signature on the drawing.
3. The elevator shop drawings indicate that the two backframe columns are to have both front to back and side to side bracing. There are no structural details and calculations that show the column bracing to the back wall that is at least a foot away from the columns.
4. The elevator is required to sit in a 5" deep pit which is also not indicated on the drawings.
