SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN: 1. Provide section view and details for proposed chimney, R801.2. 2. Specify lumber grade/species, or manufacturer and series for "I" joists, R802.1. PLUMBING PLAN: 3. Provide vent piping through the roof so that the aggregate cross-sectional area shall not be less than that of the largest required building sewer, UPC 904.1. 4. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 5. Show receptacle outlets at each kitchen counter space wider than 12" so that no point along the wall line is more than 24" from a receptacle outlet, E3801.4.1. 6. Island or peninsula counter tops with a long dimension of 24" and a short dimension of 12" or greater shall have at least one receptacle, E3801.4.2.
